About :

The Colosseum was built with Celine Dion in mind.

The Colosseum is a modern replica of Rome's architectural wonder, complete with world class acoustics and a classic style. Designed to accommodate stage shows of all varieties, including the world-reknowned Caesars' headliners, The Colosseum seats an impressive 4,298 with no seat farther than 120-feet from the stage and is equipped with state-of-the-art audio and visual elements, including one of the largest indoor high-definition LED screens in North America (120-feet wide by 33-feet tall)

The Personal Experience:

The first time I decided to see one of the venues at The Colosseum, I hesitated because of the rich price tag to see any of the stars, like : Cher, Shania Twain, Jerry Seinfeld, Celine Dion,Elton John and Rod Stewart.
The price tag can cost a couple $400, so you can understand my hesitation. While in Vegas I was lucky enough to win some cash from one of slot machines at Caesars Palace, so it help seal the deal and take in the venue of Cher.

Entering the vast sound proof complex, I was at awe at its architectural structure, not to mention the organized polite staff. Within minutes we were seated within the grand Colosseum.
The seating was very well designed, comfortable and enough elbow room that you didn't have the feel of a packed sardine.
We were along the top third tier and were a little concerned if were even going to be able to see Cher never mind hear her.
But, as soon as the performance began, the whole stadium was taken back by how close everything was. It is actually what they said - no seat farther than 120 ft from the stage. What an incredible design and Cher entertained us like I've never seen before in my life.
The whole show was fabulous and Cher's singing actually brought tears to my eyes;quite an accomplishment for this particular male species.

In Conclusion:
The Colosseum at Caesars Palace is well worth the price and offers the best of the best from entertainment to comfort.  Our next show I plan on seeing in Sept 2012 is Shania Twain for two reasons. First, Shania Twain is from Alberta Canada and secondly, I love her songs.
Take time to see one of the venues of your choice - it will be the best time you will ever had.
And remember you're there to have "fun". Make the best of your time and enjoy the shows.
